CONTINUOUS FOAMING
Our Continuous foaming machines have been designed in line with the best machines in the world. These are high production machines and can be very versatile for producing different grades of foam with great economy. Companies who have the capability of selling large quantity of foam should choose the continuous foaming machine. The following two models are being offered:
» FM160
Polyol, TDI & MeCI are transferred with the help of geared pumps. All the chemicals except MeCI (metered by air pressure) are metered with the help of geared pumps. Maximum output of Polyol pump is 160 kg per minute. TDI, MeCI & air are calibrated with the help of rotameters while others with RPM meters. It is a high-speed pin type stirrer with 25 HP AC motor provided with three changeable pulleys. All the streams are fitted on to the mixing head via 3 way valves having pneumatic controls.
The conveyor is made of strong steel frames with 100 mm wooden board slates on roller chains, driven by 5 HP. Ventilation tunnel is made from steel pipe covered with 12mm water proof plyboard. The height from the conveyor is 1.8 meters and is made in 7 sections with 3 inspection windows. The width of the tunnel is between 1350 mm to 2000 mm. Bottom paper feeding support is underneath the conveyor and the side papers are fed from vertical supports located on both sides of the tunnel. Electrical and pneumatic controls are placed side by side. Overload relays are provided for all the motors. This model has in total 65 HP with production capacity of 225 kg & space requirement of 40m x 5m.
» FM225
Polyol, TDI & MeCI are transferred with the help of geared pump. All the chemicals are metered with the help of suitable capacity geared pumps. Maximum output of Polyol pump is 225 kg per minute. TDI, MeCI & air shall be calibrated with the help of rotameters while others with RPM meters. It is a high speed pin type stirrer with 50 HP AC motor with a variable speed drive. All the streams are fitted on to the mixing head via 3 way valves having pneumatic controls. Adjustment of height is made with the help of individual motors. Total length of the fall plate is 7 meters. The conveyor is made of strong steel frames with 100 mm aluminum slates on roller chains, driven by 5 HP.
Ventilation tunnel is made from steel pipe covered with laminated board. The height from the conveyor is 1.8 m. It is made in 8 sections with 5 inspection window units. It is provided with two powerful suction fans to remove the fumes. A three meter long roller conveyor is provided after the slate conveyor. Electrical and pneumatic controls are placed side by side for ease of operation. All the motors have start and stop push buttons with indication lights. Overload relays are provided for all the motors. It has 90 HP with the production capacity of 300 kg/min & space requirement of 40m x 5m
BATCH FOAMING
These are low production machines, suitable for areas where the market is not very large. The quantity of foam produced on Batch foam machines is generally not as good as that produced on Continuous machines. Batch foaming machines offer the facilities of keeping your inventory low because you can produce the desired number of blocks of a particular grade. The following two types of batch foaming machines we offer:
» Semi Automatic Batch Foam Machine
This model has motor with 15 HP and 3 HP for mixing and the bucket size of 210 l. Control panel has all the push buttons for operating the two mixer motors, pump and valve for TDI. A present counter for metering of TDI, and two timers for the two mixer motors are also provided. It has a manual platform scale for 150 kg. Process Polyol and Catalysts are weighed manually and poured into the mixing vessel and pressing speed one push button starts first mixing.
Manually weighed TDI and water are transferred to their respective SS tanks. After the pre-mixing is over, the TDI and water are transferred into mixing vessel by the press of their individual push buttons. As soon as the chemicals are released, the speed two push button is pressed. This command mixes the chemicals for the pre set time and releases into the mold. The open side of the mold is closed manually and the mold is pulled out. The block can be de-molded after about 5 to 10 minutes.
» Automatic Batch Foam Machine
The automatic batch foam machine has been designed for the convenience of batch foamers. A small pre-mixer is also installed ahead of the main mixer. Catalysts run on re-circulation through three way valves. Output with max. shot weight of 150 kgs; density between 10-40 kgs/cubic meter; Polyol meter pump with motor, tank 1500 l made by carbon steel. TDI meter pump with motor, tank 1000 l made by carbon steel.
Blowing agent meter pump with motor, tank 300 l made by stainless steel. Catalyst 1 – Water with Silicone & Amine, tank 150 liter made by SS. Catalyst 2 – Polyol with Tin, tank 50 liter made by SS. Pre Mixer motor 5 HP. Raw material charge system. Pipe work, temperature indication, chemical storage volume and pressure gauge. Capacity: appx. 80 blocks by using 3 sets of molds per day.
